Internship: Creative studio assistant

For our Brussels based studio located at the home of creators at MAD Brussels, we are looking for design and production assistant intern to join us with all stages of running a slow fashion label. Get in touch if you think you match the profile and want to be part of a creative growing team.​

  • FUNCTION

    - Assisting with fashion design 

    - Drawing and adapting patterns and pattern grading

    - Making of samples and stitching prototypes, helping with fittings

    - Preparation of technical drawing and specification sheets

    - Assisting with photo sessions

    - Contacting suppliers and following up with emails

    - Helping with restocking collection at our Brussel's stockist

    - Other daily activities shared with the designer

  • PROFILE

    - Education in fashion design is highly recommended

    - Knowledge of textiles and sewing techniques

    - Ideally you worked with industrial sewing machines 

    - You have an eye for detail, you are well organized and independent

    - You are passionate about fashion and sustainability

    - Positive and proactive work ethic

    - Knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Indesign is a plus

    - You can think creatively and conceptually

    - You speak fluent English (Dutch and/or French is a plus)
